Music for the classroom - 'Brain food'

Music that increases activity in the brain and develops the multiple intelligences. Different Learning Styles (visual, auditory and kinaesthetic) can also be incorporated into the classroom.

Research has demonstrated that music at 50-80 beats per minute can increase the activity of alpha waves in the brain. This significantly affects the quality of learning that takes place.
